Registration opens for 2014 Kansas Energy Conference

Registration is now open for the 2014 Kansas Energy Conference, which will be held Sept. 16-17 in Topeka.

WHAT: The Kansas Energy Conference will highlight the latest developments in the renewable energy industry. The day-and-half conference will feature three general sessions and several breakout sessions focusing on different areas of the renewable energy sector, including wind energy, transportation, agriculture, research, the integration of natural gas and renewable energies, solar energy and smart energy.

WHERE/WHEN: 8:30 a.m.-4:45 p.m., Sept. 16, and 9:30 a.m.-noon, Sept. 17 at the Kansas Expocentre and Capitol Plaza Hotel, 1717 Southwest Topeka Boulevard, Topeka, KS 66612. Exhibits are open 9:45 a.m.-7 p.m., Sept. 16, and 8 a.m.-noon, Sept. 17. A reception is planned from 4:45-7 p.m., Sept. 16.

REGISTRATION INFO: A complete itinerary and online registration is available through the Kansas Energy Conference web page at KansasCommerce.com/EnergyConference. Early bird registration is available for $75 per person through Aug. 22. Regular registration is $100, and registration closes Sept. 10.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Capitol Plaza Hotel at special conference rates for Sept. 15 and 16.
