Kansas Athletic Commission announces selection of Adam Roorbach as new Kansas Boxing Commissioner

The Kansas Athletic Commission announced today the selection of Adam Roorbach as the new Kansas Boxing Commissioner.

Roorbach holds a Master of Science in Physical Education from Eastern Illinois University and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Sports Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He has more than 15 years of experience in collegiate coaching and recruitment, and brings a strong passion for sports and athletics to his new role.

Roorbach comes to the Athletic Commission with stellar recommendations from the University of Kansas Athletics Department, where he has been an assistant coach since 2009. In addition, he brings to the position significant experience in marketing, management and strategic planning, which is vital to the Athletic Commission.
