The Kansas Department of Commerce, in partnership with the Olathe Latino Coalition and the Kansas Hispanic & Latino American Affairs Commission will host a free educational workshop for small business owners. The expo will take place on Saturday Nov. 12 and will cover various topics, including:
• Sole Proprietorship vs. LLC vs. Corporation
• Sales Tax, Income Tax, Self-Employed Tax & Payroll Tax
• Financial Planning & Tax Strategies
• Quickbooks 101
• Social Media Marketing
• Creating a Company Brand
• How to Sell to Corporate and Government Agencies
• Business Resources
Each track will be available in English and Spanish.
The expo will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 and will be located at the Johnson County Administrative Building at 111 S. Cherry St. Olathe, Kansas 66061.
