NEI ExportNOW Conference focused on increasing exports for Kansas businesses

Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George will participate in the June 2 ExportNOW conference, sponsored by the National Export Initiative (NEI), in Wichita. The conference is a one-day event that will bring together export knowledge, expertise and resources from a wide variety of sources to help businesses export successfully. In addition, conference attendees will have access to high-level trade officials within various federal and state agencies.

“I encourage those interested in adding an export component to their businesses or increasing their exports to attend this conference,” George said. “We will focus on how Kansas companies can overcome challenges to exporting, identifying financial and other resources available for exporting, and how to generally compete more successfully on a global scale.”
