Brancato Event Service and its affiliates moving to KCK

Brancato Event Service announced today that it will move operations to Kansas City, Kan., and add 193 jobs. The company’s two affiliates – Brancato’s Catering Co. and All Seasons Party Rental – are included in the expansion and new job creation. Brancato purchased a 150,000-square-foot building at 5050 Kansas Ave. that will hold its corporate offices with additional space for the other two operations.

“It was a great experience working with the Kansas Department of Commerce, the many professionals that comprise the Unified Government of Wyandotte County, the Wyandotte Economic Development Council and the accounting firm of MarksNelson, which helped us leverage many of the great economic development programs the state and city had to offer,” said Mario Brancato, vice president, Brancato Event Service and All Seasons Party Rental. “We look forward to building our operations in Kansas and employing many more individuals throughout the community for many years to come.”

The Brancato corporate offices will occupy 10,000 square feet of the new building and create 34 new jobs. Robinson’s Catering will fill 23,000 square feet and add 33 new jobs. The remaining space in the building goes to All Seasons, which will add 126 new jobs. The total capital investment for the project is $18 million.

“This move brings significant job growth to KCK and Wyandotte County,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George. “The company joins a growing food industry component in that area of the state. I appreciate Brancato’s commitment to Kansas, and I look forward to its continued success.”

“We are thrilled that Brancato’s has chosen to be part of Wyandotte County,” said George Brajkovic, economic development manager, Unified Government of Wyandotte County. “We welcome their food industry expertise into our Kansas Avenue business corridor, where they join other food industry giants like Sara Lee and Associated Wholesale Grocers.”

“We are very excited to welcome Brancato Event Services to Wyandotte County,” Jackie Carlson, business retention director, Wyandotte County Economic Development Council. “Their skill in the catering and party industry is a wonderful addition to our business community. The recruitment of Brancato Event Services is a great example of how Wyandotte Economic Development Council and our partners at the state, Unified Government and Board of Public Utilities work together to ensure Wyandotte County is a prime place to locate and expand a business.”
