The Kansas Department of Commerce and Peninsula Polymers, a specialty chemical distribution company, announced the expansion and relocation of the firm’s corporate headquarters to 3401 College Blvd., Leawood. At the new facility, Peninsula Polymers plans to create 10 new jobs over the next year.
“The support provided by the Kansas Department of Commerce was instrumental as we were making our decision to move,” said Ken Moran, president of Peninsula Polymers.
Kevin Jefferies, president and CEO of the Leawood Chamber of Commerce stated, “The Chamber is pleased that Peninsula has chosen to locate its corporate headquarters in Leawood.
