Regent Asset Management Solutions (RAMS), a customized collection agency, will expand its call center in Overland Park and add as many as 1,200 jobs, officials announced today.
The company will lease space previously occupied by the IRS at 7720 W. 119th Street at Rosana Square. Company officials said they will occupy approximately 15,000 square feet. The company plans to grow to 400 employees within the first year and 1,200 employees within five years.
The Denver-based company has more than 27 years of experience and locations in Murchison, Texas; Las Vegas; and Phoenix. It serves a variety of industries, including financial services, health care, banking, retail, education, communications, utilities, transportation, commercial, government and home owner associations.
“The efforts of the Kansas Department of Commerce and the members of the Overland Park Economic Development Council made the Kansas expansion possible,” said Michael Scata, RAMS CEO. “Jason Bexten, Regent advisory committee and Matt DuPrey, Kansas site manager, were strong advocates of making the Kansas area our preferred expansion location.
Company officials cited Overland Park’s quality of office space with the requisite telecommunications and fiber infrastructure, the programs and resources available through the Kansas Department of Commerce and the availability of skilled workers in the area with customer services and collections backgrounds.
