Corner Stone Kansas City to open in Overland Park

Corner Stone Kansas City has announced that it will open its headquarters in Overland Park. An insurance agency specializing in serving construction, manufacturing, agricultural and energy clients, Corner Stone plans to create 44 new jobs in Kansas over the next five years.

“We want to welcome Corner Stone Kansas City to Overland Park,” stated Carl Gerlach, mayor of Overland Park. “This company is truly a reflection of the entrepreneurial spirit that came about as a result of a handful of business leaders looking for new opportunities.”

At its offices at 4400 College Boulevard, Corner Stone anticipates a capital investment of $850,000 in conjunction with its move to Kansas.

“Corner Stone Kansas City is going to create several dozen good jobs in the state,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George. “It’s great to see that our business environment encourages the investment and job growth that Kansas needs for a strong and expanding economy.”
