Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship
The Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship works to establish entrepreneurship and small business as a priority for economic and community development in Kansas. The Center strives to promote an entrepreneurial culture throughout the state by connecting entrepreneurs and small businesses to the expertise, education and economic resources they need. Kansas Small Business Development Center
The Kansas Small Business Development Center (KSBDC), administered by Fort Hays State University in Hays, works with small businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs to help them compete in today's highly competitive global economy. Eight Regional KSBDC Centers and two Outreach Centers combine the resources of a professional staff, the state’s best educational institutions, the private sector and government at all levels. Office of Minority and Women Business Development
The Office of Minority and Women Business Development promotes business development with a focus on minority- and women-owned businesses. Information and referrals are provided in the areas of procurement, contracting and subcontracting, financing and business management. The office also partners with other business advocates to sponsor business education workshops and seminars. A statewide directory of minority- and women-owned businesses is published annually by Commerce to assist those searching for businesses, products and services. For more information, click here.
