Located in the scenic Flint Hills, Greenwood County offers a wide range of outdoor activities.  Fall River State Park is located in the southern part of the county and offers fishing, boating, water skiing, hiking, camping and swimming. A favorite pastime here is canoeing Fall River. Eureka Lake is located outside of Eureka and offers fishing, boating, swimming and a nature trail.

For those that enjoy hunting, Flint Oak offers guided hunts, lodging for up to 140 guests and several other activities, including fishing, hiking, sporting clays and swimming. Golfing is available at the Eureka Country Club , a private club and Madison Golf Club a nine-hole grass green course that’s open to the public.

 The Greenwood County Historical Society and Museum can help those wanting information on ancestors and also houses exhibits on the history of Greenwood county.
