For the museum goer, St. John Science Museum is a trove of information and exhibits relating to the Industrial Revolution.  Covering everything from Lodestones to Lasers, this museum is set up to allow the visitor to see and interact with all the major discoveries of the Industrial Revolution and understand how these discoveries have changed the world. Exhibits include: the Tesla Coil, Discover the Hydrogen Cycle, Watch Water Boil at Room Temperature and Turn Sunshine into Motion.   

Other museums are the Stafford County Historical Society Museum, a 21 room museum depicting Stafford County’s history through artifacts dating from the 1800s to present and the Lucille M. Hall Museum. This museum was recently remodeled and is a legacy of a resident pioneer of St. John. It includes a massive collection of memorabilia relating to Lucille Hall and other residents of St. John.    

Other unique attractions to Stafford county are the Stafford County Flour Mill in Hudson and the Henderson House Bed and Breakfast in Stafford. One of the last independently owned flour mills in the country, Stafford County Flour mill makes Hudson Cream Flour.  Henderson House, now a bed and breakfast, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and will make a fond and lasting impression. 

For the outdoor enthusiast, Stafford county has many offerings. Quivira National Wildlife Refuge offers opportunities to observe wildlife, as well as hunt and fish. Wetlands and Wildlife National Scenic Byway is a 77 mile byway that connects Cheyenne Bottoms and Quivira National Wildlife Refuge. Stafford County Country Club is a nine-hole public course with watered fairways open seven days a week. Hunting opportunities for deer, geese, pheasant and quail hunting are plentiful and prove to be one of the greatest annual attractions to Stafford County.
