The Fort Wallace Museum , located in Wallace, was once a fort that housed soldiers protecting settlers headed west. Today, the museum owns four separate buildings and two restored Conestoga wagons. The historical Clark-Robidoux house is an 1880 gothic revival style house that is open for tours.

Sharon Springs enjoys a nine-hole golf course and a swimming pool along with parks for those that enjoy the outdoors. The area also enjoys several opportunities for in-season game hunting.
