The Kansas Athletic Commission administers laws and regulations governing regulated sports and wrestling. The Commission continually strives to provide authorized control and official direction for professional boxing, kickboxing, mixed martial arts and wrestling, while encouraging the promotion of such sporting events in the State of Kansas. The regulatory process shall continue to facilitate the health and safety of contestants, fair and competitive bouts, in addition to protecting the general public.
Kansas Boxing Commissioner
The Kansas Boxing Commissioner, in cooperation with the Kansas Athletic Commission, oversees regulated sports within the State. Regulatory responsibilities include the licensing and supervision of referees, judges, physicians, managers, contestants, timekeepers, seconds, promoters and matchmakers for regulated sports contests in addition to event oversight and policy review.
Federal Boxing and National MMA ID's
Promoters, boxers and mixed martial artists, please be aware that any athlete submitted to be included on any professional boxing fight card or any professional/amateur mixed martial arts cards in the State of Kansas will be checked for any suspensions on the FightFax.com
systems respectively. All fighters will be expected to show their Federal Boxing ID or National MMA ID prior to being approved to participate in any contest. If a fighter does not possess the appropriate Federal or National ID, it will need to be procured prior to event participation.
BLOOD WORK INFORMATION

All amateur MMA fighters will have to submit yearly blood work to be licensed in Kansas, and professionals must submit blood work every six months.
Negative HIV; Surface Antigen B and Hep C Anti virus
All blood work must be submitted to MedLic , your profile with MedLic must be in good standing, and the blood work is good from the date of the test.
